The most recent project I am working on is a website for Dr. Bodo Wiechmann, who is setting up his own management consultancy firm.

A few information about Dr. Wiechmann:

Mein Beratungsangebot basiert auf 26 Jahren Berufserfahrung in verschiedenen Fach- und Führungsfunktionen in einem mittelständischen Unternehmen. Insbesondere durch die Leitung einer Fabrik und durch die GmbH-Geschäftsführung (8 Jahre) in einem internationalen Fertigungs- und Logistikzentrum habe ich umfangreiche Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen im operativen und strategischen Management erworben.

Go and see for yourself at Dr. Wiechmann's homepage.

Update: Just implemented the iPhone interface - if you check it out via iPhone, you will see a more accessible and slightly downgraded version of the homepage; the focus lying on easy navigation.

Doing a webdesign project for an official info session about industrial training opportunities (all the evening) in Buxtehude.
Many firms, e.g. Unilever and Pioneer, participate in this event, offering several different jobs.

Business plan
E-Mate: Project at the University of Glasgow in 2008.

What is the idea about?

Our Business idea “E-Mate” is about providing a personalised entertainment guide for multiple European cities using internet and mobile technology. The background of this idea is based on the, nowadays, large availability of low-costs travelling. The “E-Mate” is a web-based service, which offers the best customised recommendations possible to the customer. The website includes not only professional descriptions of locations like Bars, Theatres, and Restaurants in main European cities, but also user-generated reviews and suggestions of hot-spots and places-to-be. Potential customers would sign up on our website and fill out a detailed online profile, defining their preferences in terms of entertainment. On a trip, the registered customer can get information about where to find a traditional Pizzeria in Rome for example or where Karaoke takes place that night. Options for receiving the service are either in advance or on demand, in which case the customer would receive the information via his or her mobile device at or shortly after the moment of ordering.

An example would be: Customer X (already registered) from Glasgow travels to Paris and has no knowledge about the city. As X arrives at the Hotel, he wants to go to a typical local pub. He can also indicate how much can he spend and if he is going out with friends or if he is looking for a more romantic night). So X sends a text to our website and receives three (or more) recommendations (and also the easiest way to get there) for his enquiry according X’s profile.

In other words, the “E-Mate” is just like your best friend, because he knows your likes and preferences, and can give you the best suggestion not just about the best club in town, but about what is the best for you.
